The main aim of our project is to convince people: being in EU is rather advantageous. In a family it is obvious, that even the little counts. What about the society: in a town, a country or in the EU? Do small nations, small countries count?  Are they important for the EU? Is the European Union important for us? Will it collapse like Roman Empire has? Will there be new exits? All of us meet these kind of questions day by day. The answer is difficult, if we would like to give it without demagogy and prejudice. It is particularly important to discuss these issues with young people, who are inexperienced, and don’t know how the European Union works.

The aim of our project is to help the citizens – particularly the young ones – to think about these questions. Participants will discuss most of the above-mentioned questions in detail, but instead of explicit methods we rather use indirect ones, using proper methods by which we hopefully can give right answers. The proper methods are the most efficient ones: workshops, simulations, debate, exhibition, or in some cases lectures, study visits. These actions all will help participants to realize that in EU also the small countries are important. With different activities we also will prove how important the cultural diversity is, and how the decision makers support small, almost forgotten languages, like Maltese.

The other aim is to emphasize how important each single – even little – action is to reach a common goal in our neighborhood and consequently in the whole Europe. This is true for each individual action (like environment protection, voluntary work – even the smallest one etc.), but also in case of the decision-making process locally or even at European level – like rotation of the EU presidency.

Even the composition of this network reflects our aims: some partners are from large countries, like Germany, Italy, Poland, and small ones like Malta and Hungary. Special target group is youth as their future, life will be in the EU.

Projektünk fő célja az, hogy meggyőzzük az embereket arról, hogy mennyire előnyös az EU tagjaként élni. A családban is egyértelmű, hogy a legkisebb is fontos. Mi a helyzet a társadalomban, egy városban, egy országban vagy az EU-ban? Fontosak-e a kisebb nemzetek is, jelentősek-e az EU-ban? Nekünk is fontos-e az Európai Unió? Elbukik-e, mint a Római Birodalom? Lesz-e újabb kilépés? Nap mint nap találkozhatunk valamennyien ezekkel a kérdésekkel. Nagyon nehéz erre válaszolni, különösen, ha demagógia és előítéletmentesen szeretnénk ezt megtenni. Nagyon fontos, hogy erről a témáról a fiatalokkal is beszéljünk, hiszen ők még tapasztalatlanok, és nem ismerek az EU munkáját.

Projektünknek az a célja, hogy segítsünk a polgároknak, különösen a fiataloknak abban, hogy ezekkel a kérdésekkel megismerkedjenek. A résztvevők részletesen megbeszélik az előbb említett kérdéseket. A közvetlen módszerek helyett a közvetetteket részesítjük előnyben, olyanokat alkalmazunk, amelyekkel helyes válaszokat tudunk adni. A műhelymunkák, a szimulációk, a viták és kiállítások, valamint a tanulmányutak és esetleg előadások, mind olyan módszerek, amelyek hozzájárulnak a kérdéskör megértéséhez. Valamennyi tevékenység segíti azt, hogy a fiatalok felismerjék, hogy a kicsi országok is fontosak az EU-ban. Különböző tevékenységeken keresztül megértetjük, hogy mennyire fontos a kulturális sokszínűség. Fontos az is, hogy a döntéshozók milyen módon támogatják a majdnem elfelejtett kisnyelvek, mint például a máltai nyelv fennmaradását.

Projektünk további célja annak hangsúlyozása, hogy minden cselekedet, tett, még a legkisebb is hozzájárul a közös cél eléréséhez a környezetünkben is, és egész Európában is. Ez igaz minden egyéni tevékenységre (környezetvédelem, önkéntes munka, még a legcsekélyebb tett is), valamint a helyi és EU-szintű vezetők határozatalkotó folyamataira, mint pl. az EU elnökség rotációja.

Céljainkat még a hálózat összetétele is tükrözi, hiszen nagy országok -Németország, Olaszország és Lengyelország -, valamint kicsik, mint például Málta és Magyarország vesznek részt a közös munkában. A legfontosabb célcsoport a fiatalok, hiszen ők azok, akik a jövő Európájában építik saját életüket.

L-għan ewlieni tal-proġett tagħna huwa li nikkovinċu lin-nies: li tkun membru fl-UE huwa pjuttost vantaġġuż . Fil-familja huwa ovvju, li anki min huwa żgħir għandu l-importanza tiegħu. Xi ngħidu dwar is-soċjetà: f’belt, f’pajjiż jew fl-UE? Nazzjonijiet żgħar, pajjiżi żgħar huma importanti? Dawn huma importanti għall-UE? L-Unjoni Ewropea hija importanti għalina? Din se jikkollassa bħalma ġralu l-Imperu Ruman? Se jkun xi  hemm ħruġ ġdid? Ilkoll niltaqgħu ma’dawn it-tip ta ‘mistoqsijiet. It-tweġiba hija diffiċli, jekk nixtiequ nagħtuha mingħajr demagogija u preġudizzju. Huwa partikolarment importanti li dawn il-kwistjonijiet jiġu diskussi maż-żgħażagħ, li huma mingħajr esperjenza, u ma jafux kif taħdem l-Unjoni Ewropea.

L-għan tal-proġett tagħna huwa li jgħin liċ-ċittadini – partikolarment dawk żgħar – biex jaħsbu dwar dawn il-mistoqsijiet. Il-parteċipanti jiddiskutu l-biċċa l-kbira tal-mistoqsijiet imsemmija hawn fuq fid-dettall, iżda minflok metodi espliċiti aħna pjuttost nużaw dawk impliċiti, bl-użu ta’ metodi xierqa nisperaw li nistgħu nagħtu tweġibiet tajbin. Il-metodi xierqa huma dawk l-aktar effiċjenti: workshops, simulazzjonijiet, dibattitu, wirja, jew f’xi każi lectures, żjarat ta’ studju. Dawn l-azzjonijiet kollha se jgħinu lill-parteċipanti jirrealizzaw li fl-UE wkoll il-pajjiżi ż-żgħar huma importanti. Ma’ attivitajiet differenti aħna wkoll se nipprovaw kemm hija importanti d-diversità kulturali, u kif dawk li jieħdu d-deċiżjonijiet jappoġġjaw lingwi żgħar, kważi minsija, bħal Malti.

L-għan l-ieħor huwa li nenfasizzaw kemm hu importanti li kull azzjoni – anke jekk minima – tkun li jintlaħaq għan komuni fil-viċinanzi tagħna u sussegwentement fl-Ewropa kollha. Dan huwa minnu għal kull azzjoni individwali (bħal protezzjoni ambjentali, ix-xogħol volontarju – anki l-iżgħar eċċ.), Iżda wkoll fil-każ ta’ proċess ta’ teħid ta’ deċiżjonijiet lokalment jew anke f’livell Ewropew.

Anke l-mod ta’ kif inhi magħmula  din ix-xibka tirrifletti l-għanijiet tagħna: xi imsieħba huma minn pajjiżi kbar, bħall-Ġermanja, l-Italja, il-Polonja, u dawk żgħar bħal Malta u l-Ungerija. Grupp ta’ mira speċjali huwa ż-żgħażagħ bħala l-futur tagħhom, il-ħajja se tkun fl-UE.

Głównym celem naszego projektu jest przekonać ludzi: bycie w UE jest dość korzystne. W rodzinie jest to oczywiste, że nawet najmniejszy się liczy. Co ze społeczeństwem: w mieście, kraju czy UE? Czy małe narody, małe kraje się liczą? Czy są ważne dla UE? Czy Unia Europejska jest dla nas ważna? Czy upadnie niczym Imperium Rzymskie? Czy będą nowe wyjścia? Każdego dnia spotykamy się z tego rodzaju pytaniami. Odpowiedź jest trudna, jeśli chcielbyśmy ją udzielić bez demagogii i uprzedzeń. Szczególnie ważne jest omawianie tych kwestii z młodymi ludźmi, którzy są niedoświadczeni i nie wiedzą, jak działa Unia Europejska. Celem naszego projektu jest pomoc obywatelom – zwłaszcza młodym – w pomyśleniu o tych kwestiach. Uczestnicy będą omawiać szczegółowo większość z powyższych pytań, lecz zamiast metod jawnych stosujemy raczej metody pośrednie, stosując właściwe metody, dzięki którym mamy nadzieję, że możemy udzielić właściwych odpowiedzi. Właściwe metody, które są najbardziej skuteczne: warsztaty, symulacje, debata, wystawa lub w niektórych przypadkach wykłady, wizyty studyjne. Wszystkie te działanie pomogą uczestnikom zrozumieć, że w UE ważne są również małe kraje. Dzięki różnym działaniom udowodnimy także, jak ważna jest różnorodność kulturowa oraz w jaki sposób decydenci wspierają małe, niemal zapomniane języki, takie jak maltański. Innym celem jest podkreślenie jak ważne jest każde pojedyncze – nawet niewielkie – dziełanie, aby osiągnąć wspólny cel w naszym sąsiedztwie, a tym samym w całej Europie. Dotyczy to każdego indywidualnego działania (takiego jak ochrona środowiska, wolontariat – nawet najmniejszy itp.) lecz także w przypadku procesu decyzyjnego na szczeblu lokalnym, a nawet europejskim – jak rotacja prezedencji UE. Nawet kompozycja tej sieci odzwierciedla nasze cele: niektórzy partnerzy pochodzą z dużych krajów, jak Niemcy, Włochy, Polska oraz małych jak Malta i Węgry. Progetto

Lo scopo principale del nostro progetto è convincere le persone: essere in Europa è piuttosto vantaggioso. In una famiglia è ovvio, che anche i piccoli contano. Che dire della società: in una città, in un paese o nell’UE? Le piccole nazioni, i piccoli paesi contano? Sono importanti per l’UE? L’Unione Europea è importante per noi? Crollerà come ha fatto l’Impero romano? Ci saranno nuove uscite? Tutti noi incontriamo questo tipo di domande giorno dopo giorno. La risposta è difficile, se vorremmo darla senza demagogia e pregiudizio. È particolarmente importante discutere queste questioni con i giovani, che sono inesperti, e non sanno come funziona l’Unione europea.

Lo scopo del nostro progetto è quello di aiutare i cittadini – in particolare i giovani – a pensare a queste domande. I partecipanti discuteranno la maggior parte delle domande sopra menzionate in dettaglio, ma invece di metodi espliciti preferiamo usare quelli indiretti, usando metodi appropriati con cui, si spera, possiamo dare risposte giuste. I metodi corretti sono i più efficaci: workshop, simulazioni, dibattiti, mostre, o in alcuni casi conferenze, visite di studio. Queste azioni aiuteranno tutti i partecipanti a rendersi conto che nell’UE anche i piccoli paesi sono importanti. Con diverse attività dimostreremo anche quanto sia importante la diversità culturale e come i decisori supportino lingue piccole e quasi dimenticate, come il maltese.

L’altro obiettivo è sottolineare quanto sia importante che ogni singola azione, anche minima, raggiunga un obiettivo comune nel nostro vicinato e di conseguenza in tutta l’Europa. Questo è vero per ogni singola azione (come la protezione dell’ambiente, il lavoro volontario – anche il più piccolo ecc.), Ma anche nel caso del processo decisionale locale o anche a livello europeo – come la rotazione della presidenza dell’UE.

Anche la composizione di questa rete riflette i nostri obiettivi: alcuni partner provengono da grandi paesi, come Germania, Italia, Polonia e paesi piccoli come Malta e Ungheria. Il gruppo target specifico è la gioventù come futuro, la vita sarà nell’UE.

Das Projekt

Das Hauptziel unseres Projekts ist es, Menschen zu überzeugen, dass es ein Vorteil ist, in der EU zu sein.

In einer Familie ist es offensichtlich, dass selbstverständlich auch das jüngste und kleinste Mitglied zählt. Was ist mit der Gesellschaft: in einer Stadt, einem Land oder in der EU? Zählen kleine Nationen, kleine Länder? Sind sie wichtig für die EU? Ist die Europäische Union wichtig für uns? Wird sie zusammenbrechen, wie das Römische Reich? Wird es neue Austritte geben? All diese Fragen beschäftigen uns Tag für Tag. Eine Antwort ohne Demagogie und Vorurteile zu geben, ist schwierig. Es ist besonders wichtig, diese Fragen mit jungen Menschen zu diskutieren, die unerfahren sind und nicht wissen, wie die Europäische Union funktioniert.
Ziel unseres Projekts ist es, den Bürgern – insbesondere den jungen – zu helfen, über diese Fragen nachzudenken. Die Teilnehmer werden die genannten Fragen und Feststellungen sehr kontrovers und im Detail diskutieren. Mit Workshops, Simulationen, Debatten, Ausstellungen, Vorträgen und Studienbesuchen, hoffen wir, zufriedenstellende Antworten zu erarbeiten. Diese Aktionen werden den Teilnehmern helfen zu erkennen, dass in der EU auch die kleinen Länder wichtig sind. Mit verschiedenen Aktivitäten werden wir auch zeigen, wie wichtig die kulturelle Vielfalt ist und wie Entscheidungsträger die Erhaltung von alten und fast vergessene Sprachen, wie z.B. Maltesisch, unterstützen.
Das andere Ziel ist es, zu betonen, wie wichtig jede einzelne – auch kleine – Aktion ist, um ein gemeinsames Ziel in unserer Nachbarschaft und folglich in ganz Europa zu erreichen. Dies gilt für jede einzelne Aktion (wie Umweltschutz, ehrenamtliche Arbeit, auch der kleinste Beitrag), aber auch für Entscheidungsprozess vor Ort oder sogar auf europäischer Eben, wie etwa die Rotation der EU-Ratspräsidentschaft.

Selbst die Zusammensetzung dieses Netzwerks spiegelt unsere Ziele wider: Einige Partner kommen aus großen Ländern wie Deutschland, Italien, Polen und aus kleinen Staaten, wie Malta und Ungarn. Besondere Zielgruppe ist die Jugend, denn ihre Zukunft, wird das Leben in der EU sein.
